Paper beads get an update.

In preparation for an upcoming class, I remade a  simple brown necklace into a more complex and I think, pretty piece.

I rolled about a zillion beads and left them in the sun to dry yesterday. So today they smell less of varnish, Less not varnish free. For that I am too impatient. So instead of cleaning the spare room with company less than a week away .....

I made this.

Paper beads from my head.

Keeping with the Darker Patina

So this monster evolved in a different direction thanks to the cheap ass Michael's beads that split in half. I don't normally use store bought beads. I had this idea to go black on black with pops of clear crystal. So half way through the process the beads broke so design changed. Whatever.

Here is the original prior to the exploding beads. Guess I'm lucky it happened early in the process.
