This week has given me serious grief. I wanted to skew the reality but as always truth has a way of prevailing irrespective of your wishes. So I guess once the truth is apparent all you can do is accept it. As painful as it can be the great thing about truth is you only have to face it once.
I have so many obsessions my mind never stops for long on one idea or image. But I have been contemplating what is the ultimate card design? Is there an iconic design that grabs the view? Does a composition exist that has universal appeal? If there was.... what does it look like.... does it include color... composition..texture?
Certainly this card is simple yet brilliant.

How did I end up here? A place I never thought I'd be. The same place I watched others struggle from as I safely stood in the shadows. There's no strategy available to me I'm at the mercy of others. I'm about to burst inside while around me all is calm. Shit. Breathe. So be it.
Pink glass comes in some skunkie colors, so when I found a rod in CIM I wanted to try it out. After the fact of course, I wish I'd bought more. Having gone crazy with Double Helix I was showing restraint. This necklace has several brands of glass but the purest pink is CIM. Mixing the pinks and alternating etching made the final outcome pleasing.
